Big Cheese Hamburgers

Description: Taste the full flavor off our big and juicy home-made hamburger.

Preparation Time: 5 mins preparation time ; 1 hr refrigeration time

Cooking Time: 15 mins

Serves 4

Ingredients:

500 g lean minced beef
6 spring onions, finely chopped
3 Tbsp LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp dried oregano
1 clove garlic, crushed or
2 tsp garlic sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 slices tomato
4 triangular slices cheddar cheese
2 halved hamburger style buns
mustard, for spreading
mixed salad leaves and fine slices of spring
onion to garnish

Procedures:

1. In a large bowl, combine beef, chopped spring onions, cheese, LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce, oregano, garlic and seasoning to taste.
2. Shape the mixture into 4 rounds about 10cm or 4inches in diameter. Cover and refrigerate for an 1 hour.
3. Place hamburgers under a hot grill and cook for about 12-15mins, turning once, until done.
4. Place a slice of tomato on top of each burger then a slice of cheese to cover just half of the tomato. Cook for a further 2 mins or until the cheese begins to melt.
5. Spread each side of the hamburger bun with mustard, arrange a few salad leaves on top and add the hamburger.
