Adobo Wings in Beer

Ingredients

12 headgarlic, smashed & pounded
6 pcschicken wings, washed, patted dry
1 packetinstant adobo powder mix
3 - 4 Tbsplight beer
pinch coarse salt
pinch pepper
2 TbspLea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
2 - 3 Tbspsoftened butter
1 pcgreen or dried laurel leaf (do not crush)

Procedure

  1. Marinate chicken wings in Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, beer, salt & pepper for at least 15 mins in a refrigerator.
  2. Prepare adobo mix per packet instructions and simmer in low heat.
  3. In another skillet, heat some butter and brown the chicken wings.
  4. As chicken wings get browned, drop pieces into the adobo sauce pan until all pieces are cooked.
  5. Crush garlic and add to the pan. Add marinade and some more butter then continue to simmer, but this time covered for 5 more mins.
  6. Serve hot.

Tip

You can take out the garlic bits and fry in butter until golden and use it as garnish.
