Ingredients

½ kilopork liempo, cut into pieces
14 cupcane vinegar
14 cupsoy sauce
1 Tbspchopped garlic
2 pcslaurel leaves
12 tspcrushed black peppercorns
14 cupwater
1 Tbspbanana ketchup
1 TbspLea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce

Procedures

Procedure

  1. In a saucepan, cook over low heat the pork liempo, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, laurel leaves, peppercorns and water. Cover pan while cooking.
  2. Simmer until pork is cooked and fork tender.
  3. When cooked, add banana ketchup, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce to thicken sauce.
  4. Serve while hot with freshly cooked plain rice.

Tip

To serve like lechon kawali, panfry pork liempo adobo until crispy.
