Ingredients

300 gRib - eye steak - ½ inch thick (preferably U.S. or Australian)
5 sprigsthyme
6 clovesgarlic
80 gbutter
2 Tbspoil
3 TbspLea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste

Procedures

Procedure

  1. Rub the steak with salt, and pepper, and Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.
  2. Crush your garlic cloves and press it into the steak together with the sprigs of thymes.
  3. Keep this in the fridge for about 10 to 20 minutes
  4. In a pan, melt your butter and add oil. Adding oil to the butter will help the butter not burn.
  5. Once the butter has melted into the oil, take out the steak and put the garlic and thyme that was on the steak into the pan.
  6. Lower the fire and put the steak on.
  7. Using a spoon, baste the steak continously for 2 minutes. Then do the same on the other side. Do this process three times on each side.

Tip

Basting helps enhance and intensify flavors. It also helps keep meat moist.
